My name is Grant Little.
I’m a passionate technologist who loves using the most relevant technology to solve complex business problems.
I’m working, with AUSIEX under the title of Enterprise Architect, but realistically I’m currently working in a Technical Architect role.
Primarily, I’m responsible for:-
- Research and help implement technology solutions to solve complex business problems
- Provide potential solution options and business pros/cons for those solutions
- Focus on fast feedback delivery with quality
- Help define technical roadmaps
- Define framework capabilities for cross cutting concerns across the platforms
- Continually improve capability in DevSecOps
- Further enhance capability, education and automation with CI/CD pipelines
I’ve been working in the IT industry for 25 years now, primarily in the financial services industry. Over the years I’ve worked up from being a developer to specialist engineer and now primarily work as a Enterprise/Technical Architect. At this level you need to be able to traverse the organisational elevator and wear many hats.
Having worked in in stock market trading space for many years I have a keen interest in highly available, scalable and resilient systems which allow for low latency and high throughput.
Computer Technology is one of the fastest changing in human history and I’m always keen on learning new products and techniques that can potentially offer a competitive advantage. This means we have to be constantly willing to experiment, get fast feedback and learn from our experiments. Helping to provide teams with this fast feedback loop and maintain quality is also an area I’m particularly interested in.
Training Courses (Pluralsight)
In the past I have had a number of training courses on Pluralsight. Currently I still have 1 training course on their training platform, this is called “Practical Enterprise JMS Playbook“

Personal Interests
Photography
On a more personal side I’m a keen windsurfer and amateur photographer. If you want to check out my photography/videography website then you can find it at https://grantlittle.photo
Windsurfing
I’ve been a windsurfer since the age of 12. My Dad wanted to take up the sport and I just had to have a go. The desire stuck and many years later I still enjoy getting out there on the water
Flying
In recent years I have managed to get my Australian Recreational Pilot’s Certificate for the Light Sport category. This new category of aircraft has grown substantially over the past decade or so and significantly reduced the cost to reach for your dreams to fly. So I like to get up for a flight as often as I possibly can.
